Top Link Modification that really work well....

hi guys
just a quick one, i finally managed to get my top link sorted out.
Purchased this nice new hydraulic ram with swivel joints and grease points at both ends for my top link, paid £40.00 plus postage (£10.00) for it of ebay which was a bargain i thought.
fitted it on, hooked up to my spool and its works brilliantly, no more manually adjusting the darn link, (man that was a pain).
So all my implements etc will be super level , an dif not, just a touch on the spool and all is good again.

Its such a good mod that everyone should have the same fitted.
Might fit a check valve to it but it doesnt creep at all, so probably leave well alone.

Agreed, putting a hydraulic top-link on mine was one of the best things I have ever done.

It is the only way to go. I have done this for years now. I have it on my M7040 now and just put it on my Bx 2230 . See photos

Do you get much bleed down with the top link cylinder? Maybe it doesn't matter, you'd just adjust accordingly.

Gun doctor, can you post a pic of the plumbing leading up to the valve, please. Also what valve did you get and cylinder.

Mine does, but I don't think that is normal, I just bump it back up, I need to have someone check it out and maybe get one with a DPOCV or Double Pilot Operated Check Valve.
