1st question: I have an l275DT with a BF400 loader. The ag tires are worn out. I was thinking of going to the 12.4-24 ag tires (on 11-24 rims) on the rear which means 8.3-16 ag tires on the front. Does anyone have experience with this size front tire with the loader? Does it clear the lift cylinders and work well?

2nd question: where do you get new wheels? Mine are rusted front running fluid. If you want orange wheels do you have to buy from Kubota? Or do they come primed and you have to paint them yourself?

Yea you won't get new rims for that tractor from Kubota.
And new generic rims are near to impossible and expensive to get, when you do find them.

You don't want the rims for an 11.2 you want the rims for an 12.4 they are wider.
They are not that much taller.
You also do not want to change the front tire size from the 7-16 to 8.3-16 as they are too tall for the gear ratio, and 8-16 are even pushing it but a better match.

Rims from an L2550 will fit it.

Send @007kubotaguy a PM and get rims from him.

I appreciate the response/thoughts. Do you know where to find the circumference for the tire sizes to do the calculation of front to rear rolling ratio?

You need to get RC info from the tire manufactures, each tire maker will have different numbers.
I just know the general aspect ratio comparisons, nothing exact.

Here’s some circumference ratio calcs comparing the baseline to both 8-16 and 8.3-16 using manufacturer quoted diameters. Looks like either are within 2% if I’m calculating correctly (think I saw that 2% was the approximate bounds for the RC in one of the tire size thread discussions).

You've got to be careful, C is not RC, there is a difference.
And 2 tires with the same C can be different RC values.
