Timing Window Cover ...

... on the Flywheel Housing.

That's what the service manual says I need to take off so I can find TDC and adjust my valves, but try as I might I can't for the life of me find "The Timing Window Cover on the Flywheel Housing."

I've looked all over the flywheel housing, and even through the exploded parts diagrams for clues. I'm baffled

Anybody know where it is and what it looks like?

Oh yeah, the tractor is a Kubota L2900GST

It's on the right side.
If you have a loader it might be blocking the hole.

Another easy way to adjust the valves is turn the engine till the valve opens then turn it till it closes and then measure the gap.

I use the EOIC method. EOIC=exhaust opening, intake closing. IOW, when the exhaust valve just starts to open, adjust the intake valve's clearance. Then rotate the engine in it's direction of rotation (CW from the front normally) until the intake valve opens, then when it's almost closed, adjust the exhaust valve's clearance.

Has worked on every engine I've worked on, except 2 stroke diesel and 2 stroke gas obviously. Oh and wankel's.
