I have a B1750D that I have owned for a short time. The hydraulics, front and rear lose power and speed after a few minutes (and probably are not as strong as they should be from the start). I have changed the fluid and screen (my model does not have filter) and the fluid had water in it. I changed it the first time and missed the two drain plugs on the rear axle which left almost a gallon of the contaminated fluid still in it so I had to change a second time. The fluid now looks clear and clean but I have not gained anything on the hydraulics. It won't lift my tiller off the ground in the rear after a couple on minutes. It will with rpms over 2000 the first time but only lifts it to a drag the ground position after couple minutes. The front bucket has issues lifting a bucket mostly full of wet sand and after few minutes does so very slowly but not to full height and slowly even with rpms over 2500.
There is a very slow drip leak underneath that is probably coming from the seal on the front pto shaft but I can find no other leaks anywhere and I can't see any evidence of foaming. (Dipstick shows no bubbles)
Any suggestions before I replace the pump. Also, can anyone tell me how big a job it is to replace the pump?
The Kubota dealer quoted me $317 for a new pump. Is this about right and/or any suggestions where to order one?
Are the odds good that it will be the pump and not the Hydraulic block or something else?
Any advice will be appreciated.
