I have a box blade attached to my 3 point hitch.
I've been using it some and now it won't lower.
My front in loader works fine. It appears the hydraulic
oil may be low. I just don't know about the equipment
but strongly believe I shouldn't get between the raised
box blade and the rear tractor wheel to get a closer look
at the oil level. I haven't changed the hydraulic fluid as yet
and I'm about 460 hours. I bought all my filters at Kobota
and the parts salesman recommended changing at 1,000
hours. This is a kobota mx 5200 and my 1st tractor.

Josef, on your tractor is there a red knob under the front of the seat between your legs (as you set on the set)? If so, it may be turned all the way clock-wise. That locks the valve that lets the 3-point lower. Might try turning that valve counter-clockwise.

Changed your title a little: PTO = Power take off, it's the shaft that spins.
The Three Point is the part that lifts. ;)

Did you turn the dial under the seat?
That will keep the three point from falling. ;)

Edit: Slow posting me, D2Cat beat me to it.

That surely fixed it and even makes sense now.
Something under our seat broke and the seat
Wobbles all over the place, we'll my son cranked on
Everything under there. When I tried to get a picture
Of what broke, I couldn't get close enough as the
Box blade was in the air and I wasn't about to get
between it and the rear wheel.

After a few hours with mine the pivot point at the front of the seat came undone, could that be your issue? There's a hole in the end for a cotter pin but it's like there was never one in there. I was mowing when it happened and the seat came off the safety switch and shutoff in the middle of a field. I put it back in and used a key ring to hold it until I could get a cotter pin.

The knob at the front of the seat controls the speed that the 3 point lowers. There's another knob at the back of the seat (but it may just be a T handle, I don't remember) that adjusts the tension of the seat spring.
