Hello,

I am a fairly new tractor owner. I have an MX5100 and recently bough a road grader that attaches to my three point hitch. Everything has been working fine until yesterday when the three point hitch won't lower the implement all the way to the ground. I don't believe it is hydraulics related as I recently added new fluids and the front loader works fine. The three point raises and lowers easily enough as it always has...it is now just not dropping all the way. What am I missing? I feel like this is probably a very simple fix.

Not familiar with an MX.

Your tractor likely has position control on the 3PH. Will limit the lower extent the 3PH can go down. Should be an adjustment secured by a bolt with wing nut, knob or similar. There’s often graduated marks (e.g., 1-8) with the position control linkage.

An Operator’s Manual might be helpful, and can commonly found on the internet at places like www.kubotabooks.com

Did this problem “just occur”…where it used to lower just fine until one-day it didn’t?

Or have you done something different lately…. or is this a new implement and it’s Never lowered all the way…?? (latter case is a set-up issue such as Tx Jim suggests)
