Thanksgiving Pause

Just a pause to give thanks. My family and I have a lot to be thankful for. We wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving and pray for safe travels for you and your families.

Despite what many are trying to tell us, our country is home to more hope and promise than any other country on the planet. That is partly why so many people want to come here.

And its not all by chance. It was created this way to give people that opportunity to live in freedom. Every day that freedom gets a little more restricted.

As a young kid in Germany, I used to ponder how darned lucky I was to have been born on the West side of the Iron Curtain. I toured East Berlin once and it still gives me nightmares.

I am so thankful for my opportunity and life I have been able to work for and create for my family. It took years of hard work and doing without, but it paid off. I hope and pray that same opportunity is available to Americans in 50 years.

Bless all of you and your families and thanks for being part of this wonderful group.
