Hi Everyone.
New to me T2380 for this season. I think I have most of the gremlins worked out of the machine (unknown history, picked up at estate sale), with the exception of a fuel delivery issue that Im getting through one item at a time.
Thing that I noticed is that one side of the deck is sitting much lower than the other. When you raise/lower, you can see the left side (as you sit on the tractor) drops lower than the right. Checking the adjustment screws, things seem equal on both sides. I noticed that there is a set of linkages that are pinned at the front, and then about halfway back there is set of rollers that hit the frame. when I lower to setting 3, the roller on the right side is on the frame, but on the left its still free. Obviously something is askew.
I was able to use the front left adjustment screw to get this roller to hit the frame, but I had to use almost all of the adjustment in that bolt. It doesn't seem right that I would have to be that far off on one side, and its still not quite level. Nothing appears to be bent out of shape that I can see with the naked eye, but this is first time playing with this adjustment system.
Does anyone have any pointers on where to look first? We are into the mowing season now so would love to narrow down where to look instead of spending hours wrestling with the deck...
