Hello all, this is my first time posting. I have a T1670A lawn tractor that when I start it, it will run for maybe a minute and then the 20 amp main fuse blows. When I remove it, it is super hot. I know there has to be a short somewhere, I just don't know if is in the wiring harness or one of the components are bad. Thanks in advance for any help.

Could be a failing regulator/rectifier, bad ground, or short in the charging system somewhere. Welcome to OTT.

I wanted to let the forum know that I figured out my problem with the 20 amp fuse blowing. It was a bad connection in the fuse holder. I replaced with new holder and it works great.

Yes, thanks for posting a solution! That is a rarity on any forum.

On that note, I do use this site to learn as much as I teach, and the knowledge learned from solutions sticks in the back of my pea brain....and I've used it several times. That's why I like seeing solutions posted.
