Hello All;
New to this site. I have an older (2000) T1600 HST Deisel lawn tractor. I have replaced the ignition switch with toggle switches. I did a “power on” switch and a two way toggle for the glow plugs and starter (down for glow plugs, up to start) it all works fine but I have noticed that the battery voltage light (red lightning light on dash) stays on while it’s running and battery does not seem to be charging as it needs to be jumped every few days even if I charge the battery. Just wondering if I maybe missed something when I switched to switches? Or if this is a new issue… I’m assuming it has a stator as I don’t see an alternator
