Can someone offer some input on possible fixes / solutions? Last fall this tractor was stalling out anytime the blade was engaged. It stalls like its being shut down purposeful verse sputtering out. There is no going back meaning if you slightly engage the blades and then back off it doesn't recover or sputter, immediate shutdown when the blade lever is pulled down. A local tractor show said the carb needed replaced and quoted a $800 repair job..more than the value of the tractor. So I had a reputable shop rebuild the carb with new gaskets and she starts ups fine and sounds great until you engage the blades. I did notice the a 5A fuse was blown in the wiring harness under the hood and replaced it but didn't resolve. Any thoughts on fixes or solutions? Attached is the model number, etc. of the tractor. Thanks!

It's the safety switch on the seat that is either failing, misadjusted, or disconnected.

It's a safety feature that your back side need to be in the seat when the blades are spinning. ;)
