It started to lose power then stopped. Gave me a code e9310. If anyone says take it to a dealer I’ll be furious because how do you load a dead track loader?????

I’ve got a manual but as by your tag line you’re teacher. Of course your first response is to look in a manual. It gives the most vague description for that code. Thanks for thinking you’re helping .

85Hokie is helping by making the manual available not just for you but also anyone else that might have a similar problem. There are not very many folks on the forum with your machine but someone might be able to help you more easily with the manual in hand. It sounds from the list of preceding codes that you might slog through checking the fuel filters etc etc before you call the dealer to come out and check for additional codes with a laptop.

Not sure I got punched in the gut or slapped on the back!

As for the teacher........... I rarely RTFM! :D

Unless of course .......it is about a Kubota, don't want any mistakes there!;)

85Hokie, don't take it too bad. Poster is new. Comes to a forum and wants answers to his problem. Thinks everyone here is a Dr. specializing in his problem. Has established no rapport, but gets sassy when he gets a response. Typical entitlement attitude!

His dealer will surely help him solve the problem.

Your code is telling you the engine will not crank because of a failure. Did you check to see if you have more than one code?

To load an inoperable track loader you remove the cover from both left and right planetarys. Next you pull out the sun gear from each side and reinstall covers. Sun gears just pull out usually with two fingers. The unit will now free wheel and can be winched on a trailer, but the brake is now inoperable.

How cold is it in South Dakota?
Gelled fuel?
Contaminated fuel?
You're still most likely going to have to take it to your dealer to have the codes reset.

FYI: The OPS manual is Ok, but for deeper info, break down and buy the WSM (aka service manual).

85Hokie, this is about what I expected and why I didn't bother to comment to begin with. It's not like we're on site where we can actually check things for our self.
thanks Bulldog!

this is the part that does make it worth while

"If anyone says take it to a dealer I’ll be furious"

I guess that goes hand in hand with .....

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

I guess next time....I'll have to provide, the BAIT, the ROD, the REEL and then of course I'll supply the POND too.

Then he'll want me to make the first cast too!:D:)

A) Even a dead tracked machine can be dragged onto a trailer with a winch
B) If you are that scared of a dealer could it be a “Hot” not owned by you machine?

E9310 is usually triggered by a dpf temp sensor reading too high. On the earlier SVL-90-2 this was usually caused by the insulation tube around the temp sensor wires wearing through the wire insulation and causing a short.

Have you ever done this with a Kubota SVL90?

I have the same issue that the OP had(Google lead me here).

My dealer is saying there is no way to "free wheel" an SVL90. He states that it must be dragged up on a flatbed.

I'd rather not drag the machine and risk tearing the tracks. They are old and cut up but I'm hoping to get more use out of them.

Back the roll back as close as you can get it to the machine. Throw some sand on the deck and winch it up. Has always worked for me.

Good chance white tiger has done what he recommends. He is a Kubota service tech and gives very good advice on the forum. If you have shop manual it should help you identify sun gears.

Sand is an excellent idea. Thanks!

I was also consider using some 2-3/8" pipe like rollers.

I'm going to check this issue and trash in the fuel line going into/out of the water separator before I take it to the dealer.

The dealer said to check them both before bringing it in.

Thanks

In case anybody need this in the future:
