I have an older svl 75-2. It just stops running. I noticed the water separator level goes down. I have changed the screw on fuel filter. The electric fuel pump will fill the water separator then it will start and run a few minutes. Then same thing happens?

This setup is much more complicated than a tractor setup, and It's not something you want to mess with without having the WSM in front of you.
Also to complicate things, there are three revisions of the fuel system on that model.
Get the newest WSM, do not go off of old copies as they will lead you astray.
