Greetings,

I have purchased a Worksaver grapple for my Kubota B2630/LA 403 and am looking at various Summit 3rd function kits for it. They don't have a kit specifically for my combination of tractor/FEL. They have one for a B2620/LA 364 and also a kit for a B3300/LA 540. I did contact them and the advice they came back with was basically that they didn't know if either of those kit would fit and suggested that I should order the Universal kit which is available with fittings but no hoses. I've had custom hoses made up in the past and if I have to go that route I will but I thought I would ask the question here and see if anyone here has ordered a kit with hoses for a B2630/LA 403 and if so, which kit did you go with. Any other suggestions gratefully considered. Cheers, Erik

I used a Summit kit for my MX5100 with a Ansung loader. Once you have the push button handle and solenoid's, the rest is hoses fittings and brackets. I placed the solenoid's to the inboard side of the loader support to be better protected. I used longer hoses and made sure everything functioned, then when I was sure how I wanted everything routed I cut the hoses to the correct length and used the proper fitting. Automotive AN two hose clamps make a good job securing the lines. I guess you're going to get a grapple, ensure that the couplings match what comes on the grapple, I prefer flat face. Summit recommends getting power from the battery I used a switched circuit. Good luck

When I installed my Summit kit on my B2650 I made a two hose clamp out of some HDPE to secure the hoses along the loader arm. Since I was doing that, I made a few extra and still have some of them left. If anyone is interested in one I'll mail one out for the price of shipping and a dollar or two donation for the materials. Here's what it looks like:

A 1/4-20 bolt into a tapped hole on the loader secures it in place. Two indexing pins prevents both halves
from twisting and keeps them in line. The pics were taken before my hose protection sleeves arrived.

That's a really slick way of corralling the hoses. Where I'm stuck is in trying to find out which kit is right for my tractor/loader combination as Summit doesn't list either one. Could you post what loader you have on your B2650? Cheers, Erik

LA534 if I remember right. The summit kit came with some pretty small ty-wraps to use to secure the hydraulic hoses. I liked my solution better than the ty-wraps. When you get your kit figured out, there'll be a clamp for you if you'd like.

Thank you, very generous. Bit more research to do, not the least of which is to draw back the cover on my loader and see if I have any threaded holes that I can make use of. Cheers, Erik

You can drill and tap the hole. It was very easy. I was also able to get a nut up in there, so depending where you drill, may not have to tap.
