I know there are several members in here that dabble in the adult beverage hobby. I have come in position of several frozen bags of strawberries, that may or may not be past their prime flavor date. So I need to do something with them. Now the apple pie moonshine, and cherry bounce and the peach pie, all turned out rather drinkable. So, I was wondering if anybody had a simple formula for a strawberry moonshine, though it would be ever clear instead of illegal alcohol.

I dabbled a bit in an apple pie "moonshine" recipe years ago. I would make it by the gallon and would hand it out in 8 ounce mason jars to employees and good customers around Christmas.

Only reason I really quit was because it got to the point where I couldn't really digest it. Don't know if I'd drink it too fast, or if it was the grain alcohol, or what.

It would build up in my stomach like a friggin brick. Couldn't burp it up or nothin. Just sit there in absolute pain until it would subside, usually within 45 minutes or so.

I would need to do some "research" to fully remember the recipe ( i lost all my recipes several months ago when my "post it note" app mysteriously deleted itself) but it mainly consisted of:

everclear
whipped cream flavored vodka
apple cider or apple juice (i think the juice is what mostly upset MY stomach)
sugar
granny smith apples
cinnamon sticks
apple pie spice

Simmered up for a few and then bottled.

I believe this would easily adapt with strawberries as well.

BE CAREFUL with this my brother LOL! It CAN hurt ya!
