Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would know how I’m supposed to replace the steering wheel on my tractor. It got smashed off by a tree branch and the inner parts of it are still attached to the column.

I have the new wheel but not sure how to replace. Pics in next post.

Remove the nut, then use a gear puller to pull off the hub (part below nut).

Hold the steering shaft with an Allen wrench when you attempt to remove the top nut. Then use a small puller to pull the collar off the shaft.

Thanks Wolf and Dusty.

Picked up a gear puller today and got the new steering wheel on.
