I have a Kubota B2320HST. When I try to start it I turn the key to the first position I hear a click like I am supposed to. Then I am supposed to turn the key it to the next position and that is the position when I hold it there for about 5 to 10 seconds and the indicator light comes on showing the glow plugs are on. All this works right but at the same time the starter comes on too. The tractor does start but not till the glow plugs have time to warm up the cylinders. I am supposed to after holding the key in the glow position then turn it to the next position to start the tractor, but instead the tractor starts in the glow position. Has any one else had this problem or know what my problem is. Thanks in advance for your help or advice.
Regards J.R.

Perhaps the key switch is shot, someone messed with the wiring or rodent damage.
The glow plugs are powered in both pre heat and start key positions.

You can remove the key switch and use a multi meter to check its 3 positions as shown in the above table.
