I need advice on where or what wires go to solenoid? I have a shop Manuel, but somebody has changed the wires before and I don’t know enough about wiring as it is. Is this the trigger switch pointed at with a pick?

Not the bolt itself but there should be a tab that was on the bolt that would be the pull in coil contact.
But I could be seeing what you actually have in front of you wrong.
What is the green wire connected to?
Because there should only be one connector on the starter to attach a small wire to.
Post better / more pictures.

Here is a (poor quality) picture from my L185F

there should be two connection points : a spade connection to the trigger wire and the red power wires.

The spade connection appears to be the green wire but it was originally black with a white stripe and went to the clutch safety switch. That switch should be a plunger switch near the brake pedals on the right hand side.

Edit to correct spelling of a few words!

Yea I do believe the green wire is normally the oil pressure switch which would be just above the starter.
