Back blade is not QH compatible. Never got around even if possible to extend the lower arm pins by the few inches needed. Today, removed the QH05. Light weight makes it an easy and quick to do. Replaced the stock toggle stab with sliding bar type. Even then a bit grunting and fiddling around to attach the blade. Didn't help the pallet that the blade was on sits on the ground bit cock-eyed. Good thing the 60" blade is relatively light in weight. Just a few moments to attach v. less than a few moments attaching the QH compatible implements. Thinking with the stock toggle stabs it would have added more than a few moments. Plus 2 decades of no QH and heavier 3pt implements. Life is better now. No going back to no QH.

A few snowflake came down late yesterday. 3pt snowblower ready, chains on, back blade on. -2.2C/28F this AM. Plugged in the block heater to check if it works. It does. Ready for snow. That should jinx any accumulating snow dumps.

I've had a QH for the past 10 years and absolutely the bees knees when combined with top-n-tilt. I've had a QH05 and currently have a QH10 and QH15. I'd like a QH20 but it's not a must have.

So you have a rear blade and a rear 3-point mounted snow blower? Have you thought about a front blade to go along with that blower? Do you switch them out during snow season?

Was it a Land Pride rear blade? A couple of days ago I moved the QH05 from my BX25 to a new LX2620. The BX25 carried the RB1560. For the LX I bought a heavier RB1672. Both fit perfectly.

Older LandPride rear blade sitting on the used implement area of the dealer. The NH blade was an eight footer. Bit too big for the SCUT. LP is 5 footer. Guessing it is just a bit heavier than 100 lbs. Easy to man handle. Price seemed fair. In good shape, but the lower pins spacing is too narrow for the QH05.

On the old NH the rear blade and FEL bucket worked fine for lighter snowfall until the snowbanks grew too large. Then the blade was switch over to the 3pt snow blower. Recently pretty rare that we get a November heavy Lake Effect dump requiring snow blower on from day one. Would like to get a snow plow blade. There is one manual LandPride 60" at the dealer. Have the 3rd function. I guess the option exists to convert it to hydraulic angle control. But the costs v. need have to be considered.

First snowfall of the season didn't add up to much. 6cm/+2". Just enough to make things look white. Melting and freezing from the ground up. Bit slippery this AM.

I have that 60" manual angle plow on my BX and it works well with the rear blade when doing the long driveway. I keep the front blade a couple of inches off the surface and let the rear blade do the clean up. Keeping the front up off the ground puts enough weight on the front tires that you don't get pushed around, and the rear blade acts like a tail fin. The front blade is also a lot quicker than the bucket when pushing back berms. When you get into tighter quarters, though, you either need a strategy/routine or you wind up jumping off the tractor all the time to swing the front angle around.

With the LX I went all in, getting the 3rd function and hydraulic angling blade. It's a game changer. So far this winter I've plowed a couple of times with it.

Front snow blade and rear blade combo would be nice until our snowbanks become too large. Shoulders/ditch on the driveway are relatively narrow limiting where I can push the snow. Took hours of loader time to push and dump back the snowbanks. Couple seasons of that convinced me I need to invest in a snowblower.

Options for a front mounted V-blade? Seems like most up here have V blades on their trucks. Was thinking(bad thing) that with the the 3rd function the option for to allow for angle, V and reverse V would be possible. Maybe not. Or maybe too expensive v. just an angle blade?
