Snowblower for L3200?

Last fall we acquired a nearly new L3200 HST 4WD as part of a home purchase. Quick attach LA524 front loader and 6' rear blade, with a full set of chains. 32 hrs on it - the previous homeowner had bought it solely for clearing snow from the long steep asphalt driveway. First tractor experience for me, and I cleared a LOT of snow in Nov and Dec. (we're at 8600' in SW Colorado). Looking forward, I think that I would like a snowblower. I'd appreciate advice and recommendations from others who use a snowblower with this machine.

Thanks, Joe

The only way, unless you buy a hydraulic setup to power a front mounted blower. Is a rear mounted unit off the three point, which means you are backing up all the time.

You'll get lots of advice. I can say that the Pronovost Puma 64" blower is the only one I have any experience with. Works great. It was a sound but used piece that needed disassembly and a good coat of paint (Pittsburgh AUE). I did add electric chute controls. For pushing I made a couple easily-removed wings to the bucket. Turning sort of side saddle is enough to keep an eye on the blower. It isn't like you need to spin your head 180 degrees and at 67 years of age it isn't all that difficult. I love playing in the snow. Built a cab a few years ago with a great heater. No coat required. Real tinted auto glass, bunch of lights for illumination at night and blinkers for road travel. We do our own snow removal at church about a mile away from my place. Here is a short video at a neighbor's place and a couple pics of the blower.

Thanks, chim. The Pronovost Puma 64" goes on my list. That is a great looking cab that you built. -- Joe
