Snow blower auger shear pin won't line up to remove

B2660 snow blower broke the right auger shear pin. Finally found the part stuck in the shaft, I only see about 1/4 of it, the auger will not slide over any more. This broke right out of the shed, I did not have an auger shear pin, as I have never broken one, I tried to continue with just the left side functioning, but then the fan pin broke, and I stopped.

What happened and how do I fix this?

I took the caps off the ends, and the whole shaft is slid right. Assume I just have to loosen the allen screws on the bearings and slide the shaft over?

That was it. Two allen screws per side, centered the shaft, punch out the remains of the shear bolt, replaced and good to go.

I believe the augers should be opposite of each other, they look even to me. Maybe it would of lined up if you rotated the the broken one, half way around?

I tried rotating the auger around to the both sides, but it was still too far over. You are perhaps right I may have it on the wrong side, I'll look at an earlier pic.
The left side of the shaft was protruding into the end cap, and the right side was close to pulling out. Next time an auger pin breaks, I won't try to continue using it! I'm not sure how to load multiple images, which is why I have links to my google drive.

Ok, just rotated the auger around. A whole lot easier when the shear pin is freshly greased.
