Small 3 way rear blade?

I've got a B2620 with a Landpride RB1572 that came with the unit...does anyone make a rear blade that has 3 way function so I can do some light ditch work?

Also I'm thinking of getting a landscape rake...I found one that fits inplace of the RB1572...but I'm thinking it will be difficult to use in un-even terrain as it won't really "float".

The RB1572 came with the tractor when I bought it...seems a bit big for a B2620...I thought perhaps a 60" would make more sense? What are you guys running?

You can tilt the blade horizontally, by lowering one of the rear arm lift screws, all the way. If you only have one screw, you can put it on the other lift arm, if the situation demands...

If you get the gauge wheels to go on the landscape rake, it wiil ride up and down between two collars, essentially floating. Or at least you can limit how much the rake part digs in.

I don't think it is too big, when you have at the max angle it needs to cover the width. If you had a box blade I think it would be too big. Also would look into a dedicated LR as the swap over would most likely keep you from using one or the other much. My dealer talked me out of going that route for the hassle & price point.

You want the rear blade to be wider than the tractor rear wheels. A 60 inch blade set at a 30 degree angle is only 52" wide, how does that compare with the width of your rear tires. I believe the standard for your tractor is about 49", and if you have wheel spacers it may be wider.

If you are serious about the ditching Land Pride makes a 15 degree tilting rear blade, the series RB16xx. I considered the RB1660, but stayed with the RB1560 for my BX2370. I tilt the blade with the 3 point hitch to crown my driveway for drainage. I can increase the crown my making multiple passes, as each pass tilts the tractor and the rear blade a little more.

I cut down a 7' LP rake to 6' and used it on a previous B8200 and it worked well. Gauge wheels made working gravel and dirt very easy.... Without gauge wheels not so much! I never had a need to tilt the rake much, but has been already mentioned, you can adjust your lower 3pt arm to get a fair amount that should be adequate for matching the crown of a driveway.
