Slow Engine Tachometer Response

I have a L2501 and the engine tach seems to respond rather slow when engine RPM is changed compared to other tractors I have owned in the past. I believe the tach to be reading correctly just slow responding. Has anyone else noticed this with their L series tractor?

Yes I have noticed it. It's just a characteristic of the machine, that's all. Nothing wrong.

Thanks for the info. It's almost slow enough to be annoying but not quite.
