Sizing an Offset Ditch Flail Mower for M62

Hi,

I am wanting to purchase an offset ditch flail motor for my M62 and am finding conflicting information on sizing. I am utilizing it on a steep dam as well as other hilly and rolling terrain and am worried about tipping.

I also want to make sure that I have the correct HP rating at the PTO. I have about $4k to spend and want to get the longest one my machine can handle.

I searched the threads but didn't find anything specific enough to my needs. Any insights?

I suggest you reach out to Courtney who owns Good Works Tractor Co., or give Messick's a call. Courtney sells a lot of flail models of all sizes and configurations as does Messick's. I bought a Del Morino Centurion Super 158 hydraulic ditch bank flail from GWTC a few years ago. Even if you don't buy from GWTC, Courtney is a good guy and will let you know what size will work for you and your M62. If you do buy from him, GWTC customer service is excellent.
