OK. I was hoping there was some 'silver bullet' method that would transform me into an earthmoving master. I had to admit to myself after a few tries that I wasn't a natural. Makes me have a whole new appreciation for those that do.
Well Yooper we are even. I wish there was a silver bullet method to be able to weld like you!! There arent very many people that have your talent for that which is very impressive!!

I was just thinking if we were neighbors we could trade lessons. What a win win that would be!

Here are some pics getting the posts all set, backfilling the post holes, and cleaning up and bucketing away the extra dirt from the post holes. I used the owners BX to backfill the holes and clean up the site. It was my first time on a BX. The BX worked great for doing this. After being so used to my B2650, it took just a little bit of time to get used to the BX. Just like on any machine, you have to stay within the limits of the machine, and they will do fine, which it did. No problem with power. The only thing I found was that I was looking for medium range on the HST for what I was doing. Not a slam on the machine at all, it is just what I am used to. Low seemed to slow, and high seemed to fast. That was for just moving and cleaning up piles of dirt not doing other regular task like mowing. I am sure with more hours in the seat I would get used to the 2 speed. It was nice to be able to try all of these machines out.
