Just got a new rcr1260 land pride rotary cutter. Anyone know what size shear pin it takes? I would like to have some extras on hand!

Typically that size cutter will have a 1/2" diameter shear bolt of low grade (grade 2). You can measure the length of the one you have currently.

Consult your owners manual, not only will tell you the correct size, but also the correct grade. You could also talk to your dealer. They should have them on hand.

'Tractor Supply' and similar AG stores carry them in a 4 pack. It's just a 1/2" diameter shear bolt (Grade 2) usually 3.5-4" long.

I keep several spares in the tool box on my tractor along with a hammer, a punch and a couple of small adjustable wrenches so I can remove a sheared bolt and install a new one in the field.
