Nothing strange happened, noise, pulling to one side, ect?

What does the hyd fluid look like? Does it have water in the fluid?

Update: just tried depressing wheel lock, and wheel turns for a few to several feet the locks up. So something faulty in wheel lock mechanism! Anyone else have this issue.

Are you talking about the diff lock?

It so and it was fully engaged and the wheel still locked up I would say you have serious problems. How old is the tractor, hrs? Did it get used with the brakes locked?

As a simple but possibly effective fix, I would try and get it moved into a heated garage. Perhaps something is frozen.

For example, suddenly I could not put gas into my car. The automated nozzle at the gas station kept tripping like the tank was full. Tried other gas pumps but the result was the same. Did some reading and learned that the vapors in the tank during filling are diverted to a charcoal canister. The valve which controls this function is underneath the car and I had been driving in conditions like the ones you describe.

Getting the tractor thawed out will make any repair easier if necessary but with any luck the heat will melt whatever is blocking the wheel's rotation.

Yes, the Dif Lock. At this point when I depress the lock, the wheel will turn. Let it go, wheel turns for a few feet then locks up on it's own. Tractor is just under two years old with 480 hrs

Sounds like something is broken in the differential.
Or it could be in the finals or maybe even the brakes (less likely).
Your going to have to tear into it to see what's going on. ;)

Get the WSM, get it in a shop, and start tearing it down.
