We all talk about safty. Slope, rops and other safty issues.

So what about a Safty section?

I don't think it's a big enough topic (or we are big enough) to warrant it's own section.

I like the number of sub forums we have right now. The way I've always felt forums should work is they start out as a single forum and as they grow the main page will start getting difficult to keep up with. Then the most common topic(s) should then be parsed off into a sub forum(s). In fact we could probably get rid of tires and wheels and leave that to the service, repair and maintenance forum. Just my two cents.

Two things,...

One, it's "Safety"

Two, if there was such a sub-forum, most of the replies would likely be "RTFM" comments and "The warning labels aren't decorations"

Kubota_Man, not a bad idea but there might not be enough content right now to warrant a new subforum. A forum (or subforum) needs to reach "critical mass" before you can split it out - if you do it too soon then it'll look empty and dead, which means folks are less likely to contribute to it.

But, maybe I should take this moment to ask -

Are there any other subforums we should have? I've been toying with the idea of subforums for some of the model groupings (B series, L series, etc). Not sure if there is enough content to warrant the split though.

So, how does everyone feel about the breakdown right now? Further granularity required?

First: I am sorry i didn't do the spell check before I posted :( Sorry if I embarrassed us here on OTT. I will strive to do better ;)

Second: It was just an idea that popped in to my head while reading about a video of a tractor with a supercharger and turbo and talk about seat belts. Others talking about ROPS as well as other topics.

Third: I kinda like reading about other models and variations.

I'd like to know if there's some way to take some of the popular topics and keep them posted some where at all times to try and keep down on repetitive questions and answers. For example "what oil to use" is always a hot topic of debate that pops alot from the newbies.

I don't know if an entire section related to oil is necessary but the newbies are not doing a search of the threads to keep repetitive topics down. I know there's a few other topics that come up repeatedly but I can't at this minute remember what they are.
