On the what did you do on your tractor today I mentioned I was splitting and hauling firewood. And I was just throwing the pieces into the bed. The next day I was moving some cinder block and pavers around.
That got me thinking since the spray on bed liner already had a couple of pieces missing when I bought it, I didn't want to make it any worse, so since the past couple of days were nice weather I went to home depot picked up 2 sheets of 1/2" OSB and got to work.
I did some measuring, and put an idea on paper and then began cutting. I made some alterations along the way but in the end I accomplished protecting the bed and also important to me was the edges.
I also wanted it to be removable, just in case, so that's were the changes from the original plan came in. As you can see from the pictures after it was completed I only needed to remove 4 screws, loosen a few more and was able to take it out so that I could apply some water sealer.
Yeah I know the bed liner is supposed to be tough but I don't want more of it to flake off, and the water sealer is because I plan on putting some bricks in for winter plowing.
I am pretty pleased .
