I get lots of questions about reducing the transmission braking on the earlier RTV900's (and RTV1000) Here is the procedure I use : Remove the reverse check/high pressure relief valve. (under the large allen plug on the top of the transmission behind the hydraulic pump) there is a light spring then lift the valve out with a magnet. Notice that it has a small allen screw on one end and a screwdriver slot on the other end. grab the valve carefully in a vice and loosen the allen screw then turn the screw counterclockwise (loosen) 3 whole turns. tighten the allen screw then reinstall the valve. Whalahh! A brand new machine!

Thanks for the info eserv. I'll put that on my to-do list.
My father uses an older RTV-900 to get around.
