Smoke bad enough to kill mosquitoes in the entire neighborhood.
I overhauled the engine about a month ago and was running great then one day just started blowing smoke that smells like oil.
It has new piston, rings all new gaskets and seals. I did put valve stem seals on both valves,
Did a leak down test and it shows no leakage at all, oil level is perfect and the oil is clean, I loosened the valve cover to check for excess pressure from the crankcase and it made no difference. Does not smoke at idle but the higher the RPM's the more it smokes.
Could it be a bad head gasket even though the leak down test was perfect. When I pulled the spark plug it was wet.
Any ideas anyone?
