In May in bought a LX3310 to replace my B2410 which just wasn't cutting it. I love the LX3310 but need to keep the ROPS either down or extended back so I don't collide with my barn door. I normally keep it extended back so that it doesn't interfere with the upper 3pt link. This was a nightmare for me because I have no peripheral vision in my left eye. I'm tall and it comes right at the level or my forehead. I hit my head a few times and swore I'd be more careful. but after detaching the flail mower and reinstalling the bucket ... wham ran right into it and it put me down. My wife said to remove it, but in checking with Kubota they said it would void the warranty if I removed it. So , I did some research and came up with a solution. I ordered roll bar padding ( a little over $100 shipped, and it works perfectly... I order it in carbon fiber silver color to stand out and help me see it. The padding is dense foam and even if I hit my head from below or the side, no biggie. It looks good and does the job!
