I have a question, yeah I know OMG not again,,, Anyways I am wondering if anybody has problems with the ROPS mounted lights shaking all over the place. Seems when i run mine I get seasick the way the light bounce all over. I tried pieces of rubber under the mounts and carpet nada same same. Anybody have an idea?

When I had mine mounted to my ROPS I never had that problem (have them on the cab now and that's solid). The ROPS cant be to blame for the movement as they really just vibrate. If your seeing actual movement it must be those small vibrations magnified by a less then solid mounting hardware setup on the lights themselves. I would not involve rubber at all and try to get the most rigid setup you can find. Anyway to gusset that up a bit?

Mine are mounted rigid and they don't move or flicker?

I just switched to a 180W LED light bar facing forward and an 80W LED flood facing backwards.

Only annoyance I have now is they have so much light they light me up too. I pretty much have light 360* around the tractor now.

I don't have the need to fold my ROPS, but I still can with the lights mounted on top.

Skeets, do you have floods or spot lights? The angle of the beam would have alot to do with how noticeable movement is. If the lights move 5 degrees on a 30 degree spot light it should be alot more noticeable than on a 60 degree flood.

Good point I had not thought of that! They are 75w halogen driving lights, and i guess I made the rash assumption they were floods,, they might be spots:confused:

Wow those driving lights must be great on your souped up BX cutting the grass at 60 mph. You can probably pick out those grass blades at 100 yards and pick a line to slide a four wheel drift around that apple tree a quarter mile away.:rolleyes::rolleyes: You grass cutters are all about high speed performance. I just blow snow and grade the driveway at 3mph, and that's 4.4 feet per second. Flood lights that light up the woods for 50 feet give me over ten seconds to avoid the shiftiest tree trunk, even at my advanced age and slowing reflexes.;););) With some guys you got to take the shot when its presented.:D:D:D

skeets,, it's not the lights that are moving, it's your eyeballs. you need to tighten the nuts on your eyeball sockets. I think the torque is only 4 inch lbs.(G)
