repurpose a trash compactor

We've had a trash compactor setting in the garage for a LONG time. We don't use it, so it becomes a storage shelf.

What can I use it for. I hate to just haul it to the scrapper.

It's a Genie Beast. Has a 1/3hp motor, 3500# compacting force, weigh 150#.
