Hi, I am replacing my fan belt on a ZD21 Kubota and I have the replacement belt over the fan but I need to loosen the driveshaft to get to pulley on drive shaft. Drive shaft comes out of engine and makes it's way to blade assembly (cutting deck). To be clear, this is the 22" belt which cools the engine. Your knowledge would be appreciated. Thank you, jnaughton

take the 3 bolts out of the lower crankshaft pulley connection to the drive shaft flange. Then slide the shaft forward as far as you can get it to go-as long as the shaft has been greased, it'll go far enough. If not, you'll have to loosen the engine mounts and let the engine move backward just far enough to slip past.
