The rod that links from the brake pedal to the rear brakes on my B7000 is busted, so my brakes only work on the right-hand side. I'm finally getting around to repairing/replacing it but the darn think is so difficult to remove.
Where it connects at the rear there is also a spring holding it (I suppose which is what keeps the brake pedal off the floor). Does anyone have any tips for how to stretch this spring out so I can unhook it? It's either too cramped for me to get a good hold on it, or I'm just not mechanically inclined enough to figure it out.
Any help would be appreciated!
