Has anyone removed the 3Pt on their L series tractor? I'm wondering if all the pins are smooth or do some have threads? the bottom arm pins and the upper link pins are not coming out.

thanks

This is the third thread I have found on these pins. I am having the same problem. Maybe Admin should combine these. I also was wondering if the pins are smooth or threaded.

Thanks for the information. Mine are stuck and the arm that the bolt goes through has broke off mine. It was my fault, I was using it to pry on.

Can you not get to the outside of the pin and drive it out?
In your case you shouldn't need to get the pin out to get the arm off you should be able to just pull the lynch pin and pry the arm off the outside.
Maybe I'm missing something, post a picture of what you have going on.

You can,t drive out 230 from the outside. I had to twist and shout (swear) with lots of penetrating oil to get them out. Same with the lift arm top pins. I would recommend everyone pulling theirs apart and anti seizing them as a preventive measure. I should have removed the 3 pt while cutting and baling because 170 and 60 got all beat up with the sharp turns.

So you did get them out? I haven't had a chance to work on mine. I need to stop by the dealer and ask if I can drill through the case so I can use a punch to get mine out.
