Regard to leakage from front transmission seal

Hi, I seem to have the same leakage from the front transmission seal on my B2100 HST. Went to the dealership yesterday and only purchased the outer seal thinking I could just remove the short drive shafts and replace the outer seal on the trani without replacing the inner shafts seal and gaskets. Was hoping this could be done without having to split the entire tractor to replace this seal. Any input on whether this could be done would be appreciated as I do not have the space to split the entire tractor.

It's been forever and a day or two since I've done one, but I don't think it's possible to collapse the shaft enough to get back enough to get the seal over the shaft. Meaning, you may have to at least partially split it to get to it. I could be wrong.

Again, in regard to clutch shaft/ propeller shaft oil leakage

Hello again, just thought I share the dealership print out of the clutch shaft/propeller shaft exploded view.
From what it looks like to me and maybe I'm wrong the outer seal looks as though it can be replaced from the outer side of the clutch housing without having to split the tractor. This is in regard to my B2100 HST which is leaking at this seal. Would appreciate any thoughts as to if I'm correct or not.
Thanks in advance!

I have replaced a few of that seal, some units you can slide the coupling back far enough and some you can not.

Might be worth your time to remove the dash cover and look at the steering valve as many times that is where the leak is and it drips down onto the clutch gear box.

Well hey, now that you say that Whitetiger....I was underneath my Kubota this morning draining the transaxle and while shining a Light up into that trani seal I noticed that the trani housing is wet up above where the plug is which made me think that maybe it isn't the seaw difficultl that's leaking. Therefore, it just may be the power steering that's leaking.
If so, how difficult of a fix would that be? Haven't had a chance to search thru my five binders of WSM'S! !! Thank you....must be an easier fix then splitting the tractor!

Thanks lugbolt, that's good to know if I find that this seal is actually bad.
However, I'm thinken' my problem just might be what Whitetiger suggested because the trani is wet up above the seal.
Thanks for your knowledge tho!
