Man, talk about a night and day difference! Bought the new bushing for the side to side and new sleeve for the up and down, swapped those out...then shimmed the side to side (bucket tilt) with a few washers to move the lever to a less worn part of the linkage, lubed it all up, and put it back together with some new pins as well. About $30 in parts and about an hour of work (getting the old bushing out was the worst part). The lever is literally as tight and good as new....SO much better!!!!!

The valve body is working fine with no leaks, but now with the tighter lever...life is good!
