Figured I'd post this since I installed mine today and was impressed with fit/finish. Been wanting a brush guard for my L4701 for a while and had a lot of grapple work coming up, but I didn't want to spend $300. Found this one on Amazon and gave it a shot even though it only had a few reviews. My experience was similar to the reviews on there. Fit well and was an easy install. Only had to drill 2 holes for the top two screws. Worth a look if you've been wanting a brush guard.

Wow....thats a pretty nice find.

Hard to beat a $112 for a grill guard.

Although I am sure it is made with 100% Chinese'ium, that's better than a hole in the grill/radiator.

It's better than a 'stick in the eye'.

They don't make them for my little LX.

But at that price I couldn't DIY one cheaper.

NorthwoodsLif, I built my grill guard for $12 in material with two pieces of "drops" from my favorite shop. I had to weld an angle in the center to attach to two pieces together. The punch plate was hard to locate but he had some left over. I thought the holes were too small but they work out real good. No limbs get through, but I put an LED light on top for night work. Attached to factory guard with two "J' bolts I made and put rubber on the hooks so nothing gets scratched and comes off easily if need be.

Get a seat cover while you're protecting your tractor.
