Does anyone have factory rear remotes and a loader ? My L4740HTC came with rear remotes that are controlled by the joystick not normal rear remote levers. I’ve purchased a loader for the tractor and trying to figure out if I plumb the loader in the normal fashion you see (middle of the tractor valving) or will I need to run lines all the way to the rear remotes. I’ve never seen a setup like this. Thank you

You need to first get the loader installation instructions for your loader. It will contain all the details on how the loader valve should be connected into the tractor's system so you can be certain that part was done properly.

It looks like the correct loader would be LA854.

Do you know the history of the tractor, the loader valve and the current rear remotes?

Makes me think the loader valve was installed to control a front mounted blower or other implement and then rather than having proper rear remotes installed, someone jury rigged things up to the loader valve.

Having both a loader and rear remotes is a common configuration.

Does the 3 pt hitch work properly.

How many lines connect to your loader valve. 6 or 7?

If you want rear remotes, then they can be installed properly freeing up the loader valve for the loader.

I have the manual. I have attached 4 pictures of the current set up. From what I gather. I would need to somehow detached the joystick circuit from the rear remotes . Install normal rear remote levers and plumb them. Then I would need the normal joystick loader distribution valve with the hard lines and color coded caps (I don’t know what that unit is called). Then after all is said and done I should be able to use the rear remotes for my hay equipment and have loader use at the same time. Let me know if I’m on the right track please.

Your pictures are thumbnails so there is little detail from which to assess things.

Exactly what loader manual do you have. Workshop or installation. they are different.

I’m sorry I noticed they were small but can’t seem to change them. I have the WSM workshop manual

This is the cover of the sort of assembly instruction manual you need to properly install a loader. The Workshop manual is lacking the important details.

A dealer should be able to provide a pdf copy.

Are you using the INSERT IMAGE tool icon at the top of each post screen?

The forum will re size down an image to fit but if it has little info to start with.............

Thank you for all the help. I will look for that particular manual. I think I figured the pictures out the second time. I suppose the cheapest and simplest option would just me to have long hoses made for the loader and plug them into the rear remotes but it just would be nice to have it the right way

A selector valve set-up similar to what Andy at TractorInnovations does might help you. You could then select which system is being used at the moment.

After getting the tractor inside and climbing all under it. They are not actually tired into the rear remotes circuit in any way. For some unknown reason the loader valve was moved to the rear and the normal color coded connections were replaced with a rear remote bulk head. No idea why this was done.
