My hour meter has 3 black numbers and a white number. Is the white 10ths or hours? I'm thinking hours but i'm not sure.

There are two tractors on ebay that are showing super lower hours, like 125 and 200. but it has those numbers in the black and a number in the 10th.
and if it is 10ths how can you know that it didn't go over 1000?

Mine is only showing 1256 hours, I'm thinking that is 1256 not 125.6. or maybe its 2125.6 or 3125.6:confused:

Doesn't matter much, My tach cable is broke, and i'm going to get a new one, So its probably more like 5526 hrs. :D but i can say 0 hours right now since i just finished my engine rebuild.

Yes the black is hours and white is 10th's.
Most hour meters will not roll over, or if they do the numbers will be misaligned.

No you should not say your tractor has 0 hours just because you rebuild the motor,(did you replace every single wear part on the tractor?? Nope), just note when the motor was rebuilt in hours.

If the black numbers are 125 and white 6 then it's showing 125.6 hours, but yes it could have either been disconnected at some point, or could be malfunctioning, or just could have gone around several times.

I have slightly more than 1300 hours on mine and the dealer says it is just broken in. I have seen these engines with over 3500 hours and still running fine. Why they only put three digits in the hour meter is beyond me.
