So I am going to remove the belly mower on my B2920. I read the manual, and of course I watched Youtube. Overall it appears fairly simple, but I am curious about the 2 mower linkage under the tractor that attach to the mower. When I lower my 3 point I'm assuming the linkage under the tractor lower also? I would think that could cause a problem. I'm sure there must be something I'm missing, so I just thought I would ask you guys.
Thanks for your help.

Welcome to OTT. I'm not familiar with your particular tractor so someone else can correct me if I'm wrong. On the BX series tractors the deck and 3PH arms can't operate independent of one another. You can "lock" the deck so it doesn't move when you raise or lower 3PH, but can't lock the 3PH in a similar fashion.

I've never found it to be a problem, but some folks who mow with attachments connected (i.e., baggers) have worked around by connecting to the draw bar instead of the 3PH arms.

B series might be different, I don't know.

Lower the 3pt arms, pull and rotate the locking pins out of those arms. When thosn2 arms are free of mower, there is a teardrop shaped hanger that supposr those arms and keeps them from dangling while your doing other tasks. Lower front handle and drop the front support piece out of the cradle and raise handle back up and reset pin to hold it. Remove that front bracket from the cradle of mower deck. Reach in and undo PTO shaft, should be a quick connect style. Lay PTO shaft on deck. Fire up tractor and use loader to raise the front end and pull out mower from side.

My terminology is likely off... I use a 3 wheel caster under my rearward middle anti-scalp roller to make rolling the deck easier. I only perform this task on my concrete floor in garage as well.

Dont forget to blast thise zerks on deck with grease so she'll be ready the next time you use it. Those spindles arent cheap to rebuild, ask me how I know....
