RCF2072 Cutter Slip Clutch Removal

I am trying to service my slip clutch on my cutter but after removing the retaining bolt I can not remove the PTO shaft. I have a good 1"-2" of play but can not go any further. Not sure if their is a retaining ring or not because the poorly designed plastic cover is in the way. Does anyone know what is holding the shaft on?

Looks like #2 is a snap ring.

Turn the shaft about 90 degrees so you can see the implement shaft through the opening in the yoke. Push the shaft towards the implement and then you should see a clip in a groove at the end of the shaft (about a quarter inch from the end of the shaft)

You should be able to grab one ear of the circlip with a pliers and pull it out of the groove. Then just get it off of the shaft and pull the clutch off the end of the shaft.

That clip holds the shaft on if the bolt get sheared or loose and falls out. Be sure to install it back

Right as rain. The c-clip was covered with grease and dirt.
