Lots of rain and grass is growing.
I am looking for the mounting parts for my RC54-71B to mount to a B7100HSD.
I need the PTO Shaft from mid PTO to mower deck and most of the linkage.
Also one of the front spindles and wheels.
I bought the mower deck last winter and there was several pieces of linkage on the top of the mower deck and I :confused:ASSuming the linkage is for the deck. WRONG -
the dealer is telling me the linkage is for a newer mower and tractor. I paid $ 600 for the deck and it is in great shape but does not do me any good without the mounting brackets and PTO.
Someone has to know of some linkage laying around or an old worn out deck with linkage and parts. The dealer wants over $ 1200 dollars for the main parts that I need. HELP.....!!!!
Or I will sell the deck for $ 500.
THANKS

I just finished rebuilding my RC54 71B mower deck. I've never had it on the tractor since I bought the tractor. I discovered I was missing the shaft that goes from the mid mount PTO to the gear box on the mower deck. I went to Kubota and was quoted a price of $750.00. I told them I would throw the mower deck away before I would pay that price.
Recently I bought a G1800 Kubota riding mower for $550.00 just to get the engine. It had no mower deck. I looked under the G1800 and low and behold there was the connector shaft still attached to the mid PTO. It took a while to get it off but it fits my B7100. I'm telling you all this just to make the point that the shaft on a G1800 riding mower has the same shaft as the B7100. I had to put new bearings on one of the spindles on the mower deck. It's not difficult to do and a lot cheaper than buying a new spindle.
