A week ago I picked up an L3010 with about 1200 hours on it. It has needed a bunch of little things fixed on it, like any 20 year old tractor. I've put a few hours on it doing some loader work and raking some ground. I really like all of it, but the cockpit is kinda tight for my long legs. I'm always looking for ways to move my seats up and back. There's no room to go back on a tractor, so I went up a little. I used wrist pins that I had left over from an LQ9 6.0L LS engine I built for my truck. they worked great.
Here's a few pics:
Pulling the seat off and assembling the parts. Spacers and supports to spread out the load.
Supports cut to support the weight of the seat.
Seat raised a few inches.
I'll spend a little seat time on it tomorrow and we'll see how it feels. It can't be any worse, LOL.
