Seeing as we just received our 1st dusting of snow I thought I better get a circulating heat pump installed on my L2202,its going in the rad hose to the block, just wondering what the direction of normal flow is,I'm thinking from the block to the radiator?

I would be very careful there.....
circulating cool water continuously is not good for the engine at all!!!

I would have a switch on the dash or a thermostat that will turn it on and off according to the need.

EDIT.....

now after reading again for the third time.......we preheating to warm the engine and cutting off ONCE running? If so excellent idea:D;)

One might try to leave the radiator out of the circulation all together.

The circulating heater could take it's input from some where low on the block, Maybe a tee in the lower radiator line. And return it's hot output into the head "somewhere". There is usually some sort of plug or fitting on the back side of the head near the firewall. I can't say for your tractor though.

There is really no sense to heat the water in the radiator.

If you have a cab with a heater, there can be opportunities for connections there.

No cab,no heater lines, besides from frost plugs not much else there, its a smallish Grey Market tractor(26 HP) so there's not much fluid in the rad any ways,as it works out it appears to be a 16/17mm (5/8) hose coming out of the rad and that's what the pump has on it.
Thanks again for the input :)
