Radiator cap seat eroded and coolant loss

Bought a G2160 about a month ago and it has some erosion around the seat for the radiator cap. I flushed it and put new coolant in it and filled the catch bottle about half way up. There is no fluid in the catch bottle but the radiator is full after 10 hrs of use. It appears to be blowing coolant out the top vent on the bottle. This is my theory anyway. I am worried I have a cracked head or blown head gasket that maybe pressurizing the system and eroding the radiator cap seating area. Do I have a leak because of the bad seat or a bad seat because of combustion gases getting into the radiator. The oil looks good and it is not using any. No smoke. No oil in coolant. I hate crappy plastic radiators. Don't want to buy a new radiator if that is a symptom of a bigger problem. Anyone had this problem before?

If the seal ring in the radiator is eroded, it will not hold pressure and your coolant will be lost through the surge bottle vent. You will need to replace the radiator.

It's a very common result of the unit being overheated.

The plastic tank radiators work very well as long as they are kept clean.
