The one with the spring looks to be a stud according to the picture below. Of course your QH might be different since you didn't specify what front end loader you have.

Do you mean drill it out completely and re tap new threads? Or do you mean to use an extractor and keep the present hole and threads? I would think it worth a shot with penetrant, left-handed drill bit, heat around hole, etc. to see if that works first, but maybe your experience is different.

2 options when you break that part:

Drill, cut, and dissect the stud and collar that is used.
It's not an easy task and will require you to weld a new on in place.

Because it doesn't look like Kubota offers a replacement part (You could get another manufactures part, like Bobcat for the replacement), but I would go about it a little different.

Cut off the threaded portion of the stud, center punch it, drill out to the appropriate size for a new bolt, tap the hole, install a new threaded stud in the new hole, and your off and running.

That***8217;s what I was thinking, drill it out, tap it and replace with a bolt.
Yes, but do not drill out the entire stud.
Drill out just enough to get a bolt or new threaded stud into the smooth portion of the stud. ;)
