Question L-48 Front pump installation part #32771-9970-2

Has anyone done this . The instruction a vague about which end of the coupler ball inner goes into the ball coupler outer first . i fell the less tapered end should go inside the outer coupler first Thanks

The smaller-diameter end of the shaft points toward the pump.

Thanks ,But that's not my Question . The question is about the ball couplers [ inner ] Have you done this repair before ? If so did it fix it Thanks

You're talking about these ends.
They go on the shaft the way that when pinned they don't hang off the end of the shafts.

I've never used the kit, I just know how it works
But yes it's a very common issue that these type of joints fix the flex disk issue.
